Channing
CHANNING CLARKSON

Reared in the cold and snowy upper mid-west, Channing Clarkson was a delighted boy of 12 years old when his father transferred his family to Southern California. An idyllic adolescence was spent romping in the surf and occasionally attending class. He somehow managed to graduate from college in San Francisco only to return to the beaches of Santa Monica. Returning to the Bay Area several years ago, he discovered improvisation at BATS. He has been fortunate to be an original member of the improv groups Fosse Posse and Double Entendre and has been seen in Improvised Western directed by Rafe Chase at Stage Werks, Improvised Murder Mystery with the cast of Go Fish! at the Exit Theatre. He spent a year with The Crew improv ensemble at BATS and several years with the Sunday Players at BATS. Channing continues taking improv classs and workouts and has the privilege of studying with the talented instructors at BATS and privately with Tim Orr, Rafe Chase, Stephen Kearin, David Norfleet and Joshua Raoul Brody.
